Privacy Policy
PyWebLib is a free website for learning and sharing Python in your browser. Here is what we collect and why. The short version: as little as possible, with no ads, no tracking, and no selling your data.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use these to sign you in and to show who made a program you share.
- Things you choose to publish: the programs, sprites, comments, upvotes, and game scores you post to the community. These are public by design. Programs you keep as private drafts are visible only to you.
- A few basics: how many times a shared program has been viewed, and small settings saved inside your own browser (your sign-in session, and in the Asset studio your recently used colours). We do not use tracking cookies, we do not show ads, and we never sell your information.
How we use it
Only to run the community features: signing you in, showing your name and picture on your shared work, ordering the leaderboards, and displaying comments. That is all.
Where it is stored
- Sign-in is handled by Google.
- Your account and published content are stored in Supabase, our database and authentication provider.
- The Python engine and libraries load in your browser from a public CDN (Pyodide). Your code runs on your own device, not on our servers.
Your choices
- Edit your display name, or delete any program you have made, at any time while signed in.
- Sign out to end your session.
- To remove your account and everything tied to it, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
Children
PyWebLib is meant for learners of all ages, including children. We deliberately collect only what is needed to sign in and to share work. If you are a parent or guardian and would like your child's account or content removed, email us and we will take care of it.

If we change this policy we will update the date below.
